Fujitsu Repair
(Within Australia) With a success rate of over 85%, most drives are able to be temporarily repaired here at Re-Source Hardware and the data transferred to a stable medium. If you have a problem with a Fujitsu Hard drive whether it be desktop or laptop, we can in most instances repair the drive (even if it has been with another recovery company in the past and they have not been able to recover the data).
The MPG Series and some of the MPF series drives sometimes have a problem with the Cirrus Logic chip.
This problem may effect the following models:
MPG3102AT and MPG3102AH
MPG3153AT and MPG315AH
MPG3204AT and MPG3204AH
MPG3307AT and MPG 3307AH
MPG3409AT and MPG 3409AH
This will cause the drive to either not spin, or spin without detecting. Sometimes if it does detect, the BIOS will contain gibberish where the model should be shown.
Swapping PCBs on these models will in most cases not work as the board is closely married to the chamber and if they do not match, the drive will make a slight clicking noise.
We are able to temporarily repair and restore data from most cases of this type of damage as long as we receive it early.
Please fill out the form (as completely as possible) to request information (repair fees):
