Packing instructions for data recovery
All faulty or non-working hard disk drives must be packed in an anti-static
bag and wrapped in at least 3 inches of bubble wrap, or a foam bracket made
for
transporting
hard
drives.
Australia Post have a box labeled 'BC'. If the drive can be packed into this
box (single drives only), and surrounded by enough bubble wrap so it does not
move, this will be adequate packaging. Anything less than this is inadequate
When sending the drive, ensure that the item can be traced if necessary,
using a reputable courier or similar Australia Post service. If you need the drive returned, please ensure that a return sachet or bag is included in the package.
Address the package containing the faulty hard drive to the address listed
on the confirmation form.
